After our camping trip we headed to Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh was such a beautiful city! It was so clean and had a nice atmosphere. We went onto Mt. Washington and got a beautiful view of the entire city skyline. There were so many bridges! We were in town for a Time Out for Women Conference. Rachel and I got to go to the conference while Andrew babysat. He was such a great sport! We stayed with one of the ward bishops there. His family was so kind to have us stay with them even though they didn't even know us! The kids had a great time running on around in their huge backyard. On Saturday Andrew took them to the natural science museum to look at dinosaur bones. Rachel and I had a wonderful lunch at a cute little Greek restaurant that was recommended to us. I definitely want to visit this city again one day. It was a lot of fun.

Camping!
This past weekend I traveled with my dear friends, the Christensen's, to Pittsburgh for a conference. Along the way we stopped in a tiny little town to camp out. I do enjoy camping, this time just seemed to be a little difficult. Of course, I've never camped with my child before, so that added to it all. Nonetheless, we had a great time. It was really cold that night (38 degrees!) so Abby and I had to cuddle up closely. Thankfully, friends of mine let me borrow some sleeping bags that helped to keep us warm. We had a campfire, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and let the kids explore. We we first arrived there were a few deer hanging out around the campsite. That was fun to see. I think next time I go camping I'm going to do it when it's a little warmer outside. :) I was very grateful to be with friends though, and Abby had a blast.

More Fun at the Zoo!
I'm loving this zoo pass because I get to take my friends to the zoo! We went on Friday with my friend Rachel and her two boys. It was very crowded with zoo children, but still fun. This time we got to see some animals that we didn't get to see last time, like the flamingos, reptiles, and bears. Abigail enjoyed having Rachel's boys, Malachi and Seth, there to play with her. It was a great day!

Fun in the City!
Yesterday me, Abby, and our missionary friends headed downtown for a bit of site-seeing. We hit up the Gallery food court for some cheesesteaks before heading to Love Park, Macy's, a beautiful catholic church, and the Art Museum. It was a perfect day for this with a high of seventy-five degrees. Jeremy hasn't been able to join us on many outings lately because he's been working and going to school so much. However, he has some days coming up where he'll be off. I'm looking forward to spending some time together as a family again!

Mini Golf!
Jeremy, Abby, and I went down to Franklin Square Park to play mini golf. It was so much. Abigail didn't quite know how to hold the putter, but she was very determined to get the ball in the hole. The course was so cute. We putted our way through miniature versions of Philly landmarks including the Liberty Bell and Elfrath's Alley. Jeremy won the game by two putts, but we all pretty much stunk at it. Fortunately mini golf is one of those games that you don't have to be good at to enjoy it.

Zoo Day
Jeremy and I bought a pass to the Philadelphia Zoo. I used it yesterday and took Abigail and a couple of friends to the zoo. It was the perfect weather for this trip. Abigail's favorite animal was the zebra. I like the gorilla, however, yesterday he was shy and hid underneath a blanket the entire time. We were sad to see that they didn't have the elephants anymore. There was still so much to see though and it was a great day!
