Yesterday Jeremy, Abigail, and I went down to Rittenhouse Square for a picnic in the park. We stopped by Five Guys and bought burgers and hot dogs and then by the Dollar Tree to buy a ball and bat. The weather was beautiful. There were so many people in the park and Abigail made lots of new friends, including a ten week old Yorkie-Poo puppy named Bella. I'm loving this weather! This entire weekend is supposed to be in the seventies. This is exactly what is needed after our winter.

Give Me My Baby Back!
Last night I was out with two missionary friends of mine. We were leaving a friend's house and were afraid we were going to miss our bus. We all started to run, however, I fell behind since I'm not in that great of shape. One of the guys was pushing Abigail in her stroller while he was running and the other was right beside him. As I was trying to desperately keep up this lady stops me and says "Ma'am, why are those two men running away with your baby? Are you okay?" It was so funny. I explained that we were in a hurry to catch the bus. The thought of two missionaries kidnapping Abigail while I was running after them is pretty hilarious to me. I guess the poor, concerned lady was afraid that they were going to baptize Abby. Hehe.
In other news, today was another beautiful day. Abigail and I spent a good bit of the afternoon outside. She got to practice riding her bike (she's getting really good at it) and we went to the park and rode the swings. We then came home and had ice cream and she watched a movie while I took a nap. Ahhh....Life is good. I also got my new prime lens for my camera in the mail, so I was able to test it out. I was quite impressed with the results.

Day at the Park!
Spring has arrived at last! All that cold, dreary, snowy weather was kind of getting me down. I'm so glad to be able to enjoy the outdoors again. Yesterday I took Abigail to the park with our friends Rachel, Malachi, and Seth for a picnic and some play time. They had such a great time. I can definitely tell a big difference in Abigail's mood when she gets to go out and play. Sunshine definitely brings on the smiles.

Sesame Street Live
Yesterday Abigail and I made the trip out to Camden, NJ for a Sesame Street Live show. This was her first time going to a live show and it was a pretty good experience for her. About half way through the show when there was an intermission she got a little antsy and was ready to go home. I changed her mind by buying her an Elmo balloon. The show was entitled Elmo's Green Thumb. The characters got to explore Big Bird's garden from a bug's viewpoint and found the perfect spot to plant Elmo's beloved sunflower, sunny. Exciting stuff. Afterwards, we headed back to Philly and ended the day with a slice of pizza. I'm pretty sure that the pizza was Abigail's favorite part of the day. Oh, well. I had a great time spending the day with my little girl out and about. Watching her face light up throughout the various parts of the day was definitely my favorite part. Here are a couple of pics of her in her custom made Elmo shirt she got to wear.

$2 Night at the Please Touch Museum!
I try to take Abigail to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia once a month. Every first Tuesday from 5pm-7pm the admission is only $2! That's so much affordable than the normal price of $15. We usually go with my friend Rachel and her two boys, Malachi and Seth. Abigail always has a blast. Her favorite exhibit is the miniature grocery store. She can grab a little shopping cart and "shop" for groceries. It's way too cute. Of course, when it's all over with everyone is screaming that they don't want to go home. It's totally worth it though.
