Yesterday Abigail and I made the trip out to Camden, NJ for a Sesame Street Live show. This was her first time going to a live show and it was a pretty good experience for her. About half way through the show when there was an intermission she got a little antsy and was ready to go home. I changed her mind by buying her an Elmo balloon. The show was entitled Elmo's Green Thumb. The characters got to explore Big Bird's garden from a bug's viewpoint and found the perfect spot to plant Elmo's beloved sunflower, sunny. Exciting stuff. Afterwards, we headed back to Philly and ended the day with a slice of pizza. I'm pretty sure that the pizza was Abigail's favorite part of the day. Oh, well. I had a great time spending the day with my little girl out and about. Watching her face light up throughout the various parts of the day was definitely my favorite part.
